A loving reconstruction of the classic 70s Mods style boot, these Monkey Boots are made from tumbled leather to preserve the natural characteristics and texture of the material, and hand-sewn with the finest craftsmanship. Ankle high, they feature a round toe, riveted D-ring lacing system on the quarters, cowhide laces, and lightweight die-cut EVA sole to grant shock absorption and insulation.
Originally, these boots were the standard Czechoslovakian army boot during WW2, and were named “monkey” due to the simple fact that you can virtually climb anything in them. The “Grizzly” boot owes its name to the iconic, proud and mighty brown bear, undisputed king of the North American forests and rivers.
